The Jays have optioned both LHP Brian Burres and RHP Brian Bullington to the AAA Las Vegas affiliate. The question now becomes, who will they call up to make the start once they need a 5th starter. What may have been the most likely candidate at the beginning of the season in Bret Cecil may no longer be the best option at this point after his struggles in AAA. Brad Mills or Wade Miller are possibly the best candidates unless the Jays decide to dip into the AA affiliate’s heard of stronger performances.
