The Jays have recalled:

LHP Bret Cecil - I'm not sure when he'll get his first start, but it seems to me that there were better options than Cecil that might have made more sense. The Jays may be hoping that Cecil is able to perform under pressure and gains some beneficial experience if his start doesn't go well.

RHP Robert Ray - Ray will get the start Saturday, his first MLB start!

RHP Brian Wolfe - The pen will have yet another fresh arm in Wolfe who has not thrown since the 27th of April. He has allowed 5 runs over 13 innings thus far while striking out 3.

MinorsTransaction:

LHP Fabio Castro - The Little Train That Could was promoted to AAA and got his first start yesterday, going 5 and 1/3 innings , allowing 5 hits, 3 walks, 3 runs, and striking out 5. He threw 105 pitches, 62 of them strikes. All in all a very good start for TLTC and he should have no problem remaining in AAA for the time being.
